Six players, one final: how Drive Nation grinded to the Peach Jam title game

A short rotation, a suffocating defense, and a runner up finish built on toughness over talent depth

@grassroots_report·Aug 23, 2026

Drive Nation reached the Peach Jam championship game and did it with six players. Not a nine or ten deep rotation that could throw fresh legs at teams. Six players, all of them logging heavy minutes across eight games, grinding out a runner up finish on defense and toughness.

The numbers make the achievement clearer. Drive Nation averaged 61.3 points a game and shot 38.7 percent from the floor. This was not an offensive juggernaut. It was a team that won by making the game ugly and getting stops. In the bracket run they held Nightrydas to 48 and NY Rens to 51. Across the event only the eventual champion scored more than 61 on them in a game that mattered.
